Your First Visit

At our first meeting, I will be gathering information that pertains to fitness prescription. I will ask about your fitness goals, experience, eating habits, health history, injuries, medications, etc. I may ask you to try certain movements and coach you as to the correct breathing, posture, and cadence. Observation helps me assess priorities for your unique circumstances. I will explain how the body works and the type of time commitment required to realize realistic goals. Frequency, duration, intensity and recovery are key components of your success, and those components may change as you progress. Learning is nothing more than repetition and perseverance, so I recommend that beginners work out three times per week, and at least once a week with me as a general rule.
